Beatrice & Thomas Cummiskey
My parents used to go to Spencer's Grill when they were dating and all throughout their lives until they got older. They had 11 children and dad would always talk about the best burgers he ever ate were at Spencer's Grill. A few years ago 4 of us were in Kirkwood reminiscing as we moved to Festus in 1952. I was too young to remember Spencer's but my older sisters did and we went to eat lunch at Spencer's. Dad passed away in 1992 and mom in 2006. Their names were Thomas and Beatrice Cummiskey.
